After launching its US e-commerce site, Honey Birdette, the Australian lingerie brand, had exposed its projected intents to expand its retail portfolio in the UK from the current 3 stores to 40 of them by December 2018. They were aiming to replicate the increase that occurred in the US, with over 374% rise in 12 months, while still working to enhance the customer experience, quick delivery and extended product range. The brand was opened in 2006 in Brisbane by Eloise Monaghan and opened its first store in Australia in the London’s Covent Garden. then two more in Westfield White City and Leeds’ Victoria Gate. Honey Birdette was set to open more stores in different places including Newcastle and Liverpool. Their pieces sell at around £35 for briefs and £60 for bras.
The idea to start the label came up while two friends were conversing, and both expressed their dissatisfaction struggle and strain to get satisfying and provocative pieces of lingerie as well as other luxury bedroom accessories. They challenged themselves to manufacture and supply items that would spice up the feeling of sensuality to the Australian bedrooms, and with that, the company was started. From then, they have been successful in making eye-catching lingerie pieces and other bedroom toys being of pleasure to those who use them.
A visit to any of the Honey Birdette stores would make one want to purchase their products. Apart from the customary glass of champagne each customer is served with, one is also heralded by flirty, luxurious and sensual décor. A breathtaking boudoir experience can be felt with candles lit and sensual perfumes in the air around products, which include cuffs, leather crops, harnesses and collars among others. The Honeys working at the shops persuade women to buy the products and as well entertain them. Side services include security and shipping.
